This product is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody. Antibodies against β-actin serve as powerful tools for studying its intracellular distribution and the cytoskeleton. β-actin is a major protein in striated muscle fibers and a primary component of muscle thin filaments and cytoskeletal microfilaments. It is widely distributed, highly conserved, and has a molecular weight of 42–43 kDa; due to its relatively stable expression within cells, it is frequently used as an internal control for normalization.
