Product Introduction

This product is designed for protein sample loading in SDS-PAGE. It features a novel formulation that ensures a neutral pH after sample boiling, thereby preventing protein degradation. It thaws rapidly after removal from -20°C storage, saving time. By utilizing a new reducing agent, it delivers powerful reducing capability while eliminating the unpleasant odors associated with β-mercaptoethanol or DTT.

Instructions for Use

1. When using, add 1/4 volume of this product to the protein sample and mix well;

2. Heat the mixture in a boiling water bath for 5–10 min;

3. After heating, centrifuge at high speed for 5 minutes; the supernatant is then ready for electrophoretic analysis. If no insoluble residue remains after adding the loading buffer, a brief centrifugation to collect the mixture at the bottom of the tube is sufficient. If significant condensation appears on the tube cap after heating, it is recommended to gently flick the tube to mix the condensate back into the sample before the high-speed centrifugation step; this helps minimize concentration inconsistencies in the sample to be loaded.

Precautions

1. Due to the presence of a reducing agent, gels loaded with this product may turn yellow or exhibit streaking during silver staining.

2. Due to the presence of denaturing agents, this product is not suitable for electrophoresis using non-denaturing gels.

3. For your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and disposable gloves while performing operations.
