Description
Product Introduction
This product is a mouse monoclonal antibody. GAPDH (glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase) is a key enzyme involved in glycolysis, composed of four 36 kDa subunits. Beyond its role in glycolysis, evidence indicates that GAPDH in mammalian cells participates in various intracellular biochemical processes, including membrane fusion, microtubule bundling, phosphotransferase activation, nuclear RNA export, DNA replication, and DNA repair. GAPDH is highly expressed in almost all tissues and is commonly used as an internal control for normalization in Western blot assays.
