This product is a mouse monoclonal antibody. Actin is a major component of the cytoskeleton and is widely expressed in eukaryotic cells; at least six actin isoforms have been identified to date. Actin has been found in cells across various species and exhibits high conservation, sharing similar immunogenic and physical characteristics; due to its relatively stable expression, it is frequently used as an internal control for normalization. This antibody is commonly employed as an internal control in various model organisms, such as *Arabidopsis thaliana* and rice.
